Meet the team behind Milestones Physical Therapy.
Jonathan Orgel is the founder and lead physical therapist at Milestones Physical Therapy. His specialty is Cuevas Medek Exercise (CME) therapy — a dynamic and powerful approach to pediatric physical therapy for children with neuromotor challenges.
Jonathan received his advanced CME training directly from the therapy's founder, Ramon Cuevas, in Santiago, Chile — making him one of the few CME Level III certified practitioners in the United States. This highest level of certification reflects extensive training, clinical experience, and demonstrated mastery of the CME methodology.
Jonathan has dedicated his career to working with infants and children who have conditions such as cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, hypotonia, spinal muscular atrophy, global developmental delay, and other neuromotor diagnoses. He is passionate about helping each child achieve greater independence through movement.
In addition to his clinical work, Jonathan teaches CME courses for licensed physical and occupational therapists at multiple levels, training the next generation of CME practitioners. He has lectured at professional conferences and workshops, sharing his expertise with colleagues across the field.
One of the hallmarks of Jonathan's training is that he learned CME directly from its developer, Ramon Cuevas, in Chile. This direct lineage ensures that the therapy delivered at Milestones PT adheres faithfully to the original CME principles and techniques — unfiltered by secondary interpretation.
Jonathan has maintained an ongoing professional relationship with Ramon Cuevas, staying current with the latest advancements in CME methodology and techniques. This connection to the source sets Milestones PT apart as a center of CME excellence in the United States.
